During the last four years I have been watching a large white ash tree on my property. Several of the larger branches appeared to be dying. This year I decided it was definitely time to have the tree removed. Not knowing which tree removal company to go with, I checked about five in our area and contacted them for a quote. I wanted the tree removed, wished to retain a small amount of wood for our fireplace and the rest chipped and taken away. The comapny doing the removal needed to be adequately covered by insurance. The quotes were interesting, some very high, over $6,000 down to $1,000. Some would charge for taking away the wood, others would leave it and let me deal with it. Based on the quotes and information given, I decided to go with M & M Tree Service, a Brantford Comapny and I am very happy that I did. M & M carefully cut the tree down in a very safe, efficient manner, protecting our yard and structures, chipping as they went. They took away any of the wood I did not want and what remained was cut into length's that I could work with. The total job took three men two days. When they left, the area was clean, and the lawn as it had been. I would highly recommend M & M to anyone wishing to have a reasonably priced, efficient, safe job done by experts.
